Step 1: Preparation
Take the tube and start by drilling two small holes on both sides for the wires from the adapter and the fan wires. The holes should be placed close to the top (about an inch) to be sure that the fan can be installed comfortably. Once that’s done, make a larger hole between both small ones for the toggle switch.
Step 2: Soldering
Hold the wires in your hands and take the negative ones and twist them together. As soon as that’s done, solder them. When you have completed that, circulate onto the positive wires and twist these together before soldering them to the prongs on the toggle switch. Ensure that the wiring is inside the tube.
Step 3: Assembly
Now, take the toggle swap and push it through the large gap before securing the anchor that comes with it by using screwing it on. Then take up the recent glue gun and glue the holes that the wires go through and around the toggle change to form a tight and secure seal. Leave it to cool for a jiffy afterwards.
Once everything is cool, place the fan at the top of the pipe with the air pass located so that it’s going away from the pipe (this ensures clean air is driven out). Once you are certain it is in the right position, use the new glue gun to stick the corners down and secure them. Following that, form a tight seal around the fan and pipe with more glue.
Step 4: The Filter
Take the clear out and unfold it completely. There are some that are relatively large, and so that you have the option to reduce it down or fold it (depending in your preferences). Some want to have a thicker filter as it can catch more, whereas others favor to replace the filter on a extra regular basis.
Once you have decided what you want to do, place the filter out at the different conclusion of the pipe and use the hose clamp to safe it. Tighten it as much as you can, and then bring to a halt the surplus corners so that you don’t come to be catching it on yourself.
Step 5: Completion
Now that it’s done, you can swap it on and let it work its magic. The filter will need to be changed as soon as a month, or while the color starts to darken from the original white and towards a greyish hue.
